Simple. No fla fla
This is the first time I’ve bothered to leave a review in the App Store, but I have found myself using this app every single day, and I’m now not sure I could ever do without it. I tell everybody who owns a Mac to install this app immediately. It is no fuss and makes my work so much easier. Thank you development team.
This app works great. All the time. Every time. Except when I needed it the most. This app lets you set the option to save many clippings — mine was set to 80. But only 20 are visible and there’s no way to search or browse the other clippings. There goes my email...
App hasn’t been updated in a while. Icon does not display on dark mode in Yosemite. There are better options on the App Store.
I find this little free app extremely useful. It works flawlessly and allows me to clip multiple items and paste them without going back and forth all the time between two windows or programs. It ougth to be part of the OS by default.
This app works great, and does as promised, letting you pull up your clipboard history and bring back whatever snippet you’re looking for into the pasteboard. Once you’ve opened the CopyClip menu item with your mouse, you can also access individual items with hotkeys (eg ⌘1, ⌘2, ⌘3, … ⌘0) which speeds things up a little (but you still have to move your cursor to the menu bar and click on the CopyClip icon). I would love to be able to assign hotkeys to access CopyClip history without having to open CopyClip from the menu bar. That would really speed up constant use of the app!
I have not seen it in reviews : Ads are displyed through system notifications. Otherwise works as intended. Sorry, I can’t put more than 1 star if I get Ads on my day to day laptop.
copy/pasting multiple entries without notepad or notes or any other workarounds is a real time saver. I have up to 30 remembered copy items and it is so useful. What did I ever do before this? If you do lot’s of word editing, this is a must have.
Ads, ads, ads. I get it, it’s a free app. But c’mon, there are free alternatives that do the same basic tasks, with no intrusive ads.
If you want to have ads poping up then expect 1 star. Not only that but your crapy app doesn’t start on boot as per my settings.
it downt paste, and the hotkeys does nothing. :)
Clicking an entry in the drop down list doesn’t retrieve the clipboard, double-clicking doesn’t do it, and the command-# shortcuts don’t work, so I’m stumped! Seems like retrieving old entries would be straightforward, but it is not.
This app does a perfectly fine job of keeping track of clipboard contents, even between reboots. The cross-reboot capability really makes this a winner. During random times the app starts up, it suggests other Fiplab products that I may wish to try/purchase and there is no in-app purchase capacity to stop these recommendations. As I already subscribe to their mailing list, I dont really need or want in-app suggestions. Thats a small thing, though. This is a solid app worthy of 4 stars. Edited to note: Originally, I accused the app of suggesting other products during each startup. That assertion was in error and, therefore, I have modified the review to suit and increased my rating from 3-to-4 stars. A good product. (ClipCopy 2 is being released by the maker, but I will be sticking with this version due to OS compatibility reasons. CopyClip 2 requires greater than Lion, which Im using.)
But could look better. :)
Simple, nice design and usefull !
Simple, easy to use and useful app.
I loved KDE3 clipboard manager and I’ve been searching for smth similar. I like this tool very much, but the shortcuts can sometimes be challenging. But anyway, a must have thing.
Add light icon for dark mode, please
This app does what it should do. However, CMD+# keyboard shortcuts are likely to be overridden by other applications. Its not possible to change them in the preferences, so this feature is useless in most applications
Can’t paste the text. Shortcut keys do not work ? I’m using os x 10.9
